“Johnny Only’s performances at our library are always some of the most highly anticipated and attended. His mix of music, stories and fun is infectious and gets the whole family involved. You won’t be disappointed!”
~Sara-Jo Sites, George F. Johnson Memorial Library in Endicott, NY
“We have Johnny perform for our literacy day event every year. He creates a musical experience that enhances and supports each year’s theme while making it exciting, interactive, educational and fun!”
~Marlene Schwartz-Patrick, Early Childhood Center Director, Jewish Community Center, Vestal, NY
I love summer reading programs!
I have very fond childhood memories of my family getting together to go to the library.
Using stories and songs hand-in-hand to bridge the gap between different ages and backgrounds, my shows create new memories to help celebrate the contemporary library for a new generation.
Your library theme for the season is embraced and reinforced during the program.
Your unique requests for thematic programing are cheerfully added.
Your library show will 45-50 minutes long unless you request otherwise.
Set up requires about 45 minutes.
I can work indoors or outdoors. With outdoor programs I need access to at least partial shade in order to read the displays on my electronics.
All that is needed from your library is a table near an electrical outlet.
It is a self-contained show. I supply my own sound system and all needed props.
Pricing for library shows are $370 plus mileage.
For out of town shows, mileage is $1 per mile as measured by google maps.
I do give block-booking discounts. Mileage can be split between the two programs and I give a 15% discount to each venue.
If an overnight stay is required, I do pass that cost onto the hosts, but I am willing to be put up in someone’s home in order to keep those costs down.
